Personality:

Carl is very shy and timid, however he does have one best friend he sees a lot named Ryan. Carl is energetic and runs around a lot. He’s also very kind hearted and friendly and wants to help people. Even though Carl struggles with understanding other’s emotions, he seems to know what to say or do to help someone feel better, he’s also very sympathetic. He’s very careless and has more than once left his toys out that his older sister Kayla has tripped over. He is also not very responsible and does things without thinking, Kayla has yelled at him a lot for that. Carl has trouble at school, he has trouble concentrating because of his A.D.H.D.. He also has Dyslexia and has trouble reading. He has trouble with social skills because of his Aspergers, he also he hates loud noises, even a loud train, is fidgety, and needs some sort of human contact. Kayla often helps with school and Carl enjoys when Kayla reads to him. Carl looks up to Kayla and wants to be like her. However he’s jealous of her and tries and fails at doing things she does. An example of this is when he tried playing her saxophone. Sometimes he enjoys teasing Kayla and she teases him back. One very admirable thing about Carl is that he doesn’t see Kayla as a person who is blind, he sees her as a big sister. Carl is a typical child and has many fears like the dark or heights. He’s also very imaginative and like any little kid believes things that aren’t real, like Santa. He has a stuffed ocelot that Kayla named Otis Roaring. He believes Otis Roaring has a soul. He sleeps with Otis Roaring and does a lot of things with Otis Roaring. He also has a tendency to talk about trains too much. Carl can be a bit stubborn and doesn’t like listening to people. Carl also isn’t at all independent and is quite clingy to his family and friends and expects them to help him with everything.
