What it celebrates: The cats having nine lives (which is why it lasts nine days). So it's like celebrateing spirits, but nine lives instead.

 

Traditions: It lasts nine days and each day, a cat puts a paw print in the ground for each day. There is a food and cat decarations involved. This is oppsionel, but one can give presents.
